The virtues of Hasan, sultan of humankind, have grown—
The beauty of the sultan of creation increased
Fair in name and deed, he surpassed the hidden and the manifest.
In name and deed, beyond secret and public
وقيلand it was asked أحسنهاthe finest of them ماذاwhat فقلتso I said لهمto them
وقيل أحسنها ماذا فقلت لهم
وماand what are محاسنthe beauties of شيءa thing كلهall of it حسنُbeauty
وما محاسن شيء كله حسنُ
It was asked, “Which is the finest of them?” I told them:
And it was said what is most beautiful about it, so I said to them
“And what are the beauties of something that is all beauty?”
