قلدني عقدها وكم نعم

قلدني عقدها وكم نعم

Thanks to Najm al-ʿAlāʾ! How many favors

Thanks to the star of glory, how many favors

He has hung like a necklace about my neck, and how many blessings!

She bestowed upon me, and how many blessings

قلت وقد نوعت يداه على

قلت وقد نوعت يداه على

حالي أنواعها من الكرم

حالي أنواعها من الكرم

I said, as his hands lavished upon

I said, as she varied her kindness to

My circumstances their varied forms of generosity:

My state in all its generous forms

أفدي إماماً حلّت صنائعه

أفدي إماماً حلّت صنائعه

بيتي وجيدي وشدتي وفمي

بيتي وجيدي وشدتي وفمي

I would give my life for an imam whose favors have graced

I sacrifice myself for an imam whose good deeds

My home, adorned my neck, eased my distress, and sweetened my mouth.

Have blessed my home, my neck, my strength, and my mouth
