Your arrival is auspicious and blessed; indeed, it is

the coming of rain traveling by night to all who thirst.

وعودك للأوطان من مصر فائزاً

وعودك للأوطان من مصر فائزاً

بملكٍ ومن أرض الحجاز بغفران

بملكٍ ومن أرض الحجاز بغفران

And your return to the homelands from Egypt, having won

sovereignty, and from the land of the Hijaz, forgiveness.

حلفت بدهرٍ أنت غوث عفاته

لقد نفذت فيه العفاة بسلطان

لقد نفذت فيه العفاة بسلطان

I swore by an age whose seekers of bounty you succor:

in it, seekers of bounty have indeed gained passage through a sovereign.
