وصافيand one pure in الولاaffection والجسمand body مقتبلreceptive to الرضاpleasure
وصافي الولا والجسم مقتبل الرضا
عريّينboth naked قدindeed أمَّنتI secured بينيbetween me وبينهand between him
عريّين قد أمَّنت بيني وبينه
And with one pure in affection and body, receptive to pleasure,
With purity of heart and willing body
Both naked, I secured between him and me
We stand naked, with trust between us
توثقfirm union شخصيmy body فيin العناقthe embrace بشخصِهwith his body
توثق شخصي في العناق بشخصِه
فماso not تدخلenter الأثوابclothes بينيbetween me وبينهand between him
فما تدخل الأثواب بيني وبينه
My body's firm union with his in the embrace,
My being embraces his in intimacy
So clothes do not come between him and me.
No clothes come between me and my beloved
