وقالوا أتهجر قطب العلى

حلا يوم جمعتك المستبينه

حلا يوم جمعتك المستبينه

And they said: Do you forsake the pole of eminence?

They said, do you abandon the highest pole

Sweet was the day of your manifest Friday gathering.

To reside for a day among the clear hypocrites?

فقلت هو البحر في فضله

فقلت هو البحر في فضله

فما ألتقيه سوى في السفينه

فما ألتقيه سوى في السفينه

So I said: He is the sea in his bounty,

I said, He is the sea in His abundance,

so I meet him only in a ship.

So I will only meet Him on the ship.
