وأدهمand a black steed اللونِthe color حِندسيّpitch-black
وأدهم اللونِ حِندسيّ
فيin جريهِhis running للورىfor humankind عجائِبwonders
في جريهِ للورى عجائِب
And a black-coated steed, pitch-black;
My complexion is dark and my physique lean
His running holds wonders for humankind.
My gait amazes all who have seen
يقصرfalls short جريthe running الرياحof the winds عنهof him
يقصر جري الرياح عنه
فكلهاso all of them خلفهbehind him جنائِبled steeds
فكلها خلفه جنائِب
The winds’ running falls short of his,
The winds cannot keep pace with me
So all are led steeds behind him.
