ضعفاً يحرك وهمهْ

An old man complained, on account of Rahma,

A sheikh complained with mercy

of weakness that stirred his apprehension.

Of a weakness stirring his worry

فقلت لا موت فيها

فقلت لا موت فيها

ما ذي حوائج فحمهْ

ما ذي حوائج فحمهْ

So I said, “There is no death in her;

So I said no death herein

these are not Fahma’s errands.”

What needs that would set him aflame
