إلا الحقيقة والكرام مجاز

I swear: among mankind, King al-Mu’ayyad is

I swear by the supported King of creation

Nothing but reality; the generous are mere metaphor.

Nothing but the truth and honor are allegories

هو كعبة للجود ما بين الندى

هو كعبة للجود ما بين الندى

منها وبين الطالبين حجاز

منها وبين الطالبين حجاز

He is a Kaaba of generosity; between its bounty

He is the Kaaba of generosity between the dew

And those who seek it stands no barrier—no Hijaz.

Between it and those seeking are barriers
