هذا لهذا قائم بولائهِ
And two who exchange their adornments for two tears,
And exchanging two tears, their sweetness
This one is steadfast in his loyalty to the other.
This one for that one standing by his loyalty

منٌّ عليه لأنَّها من مائِهِ
Like the sea, upon which clouds rain, yet they have
Like the sea rained on by clouds and it has
No favor to hold over it, for they come from its water.
No benefactor over it for it is of its water
