كفاني المؤيد عتب الزمان

وأنقذني من إسار الشقا

Al-Mu’ayyad spared me Time’s reproach,

The support of the Omnipotent sufficed me the blame of time,

And rescued me from the bondage of misery.

And saved me from the shackles of misery.

فكانَ ولائي له مخلصاً

فكانَ ولائي له مخلصاً

لأنَّ الولاءَ لمن أعتقا

لأنَّ الولاءَ لمن أعتقا

So my loyalty to him was sincere,

So my allegiance to Him was sincere,

For loyalty belongs to the one who set me free.

For allegiance is to the one who emancipated.
