شهاب الدين يا غوث الموالي

ومن حازَ الثنا والفضل كلّه

ومن حازَ الثنا والفضل كلّه

O Shihab al-Din, succor of the dependents,

O Leader of the faithful, worthy of praise,

And you who have won all praise and excellence,

You who have attained all glory and merit,

أغثْ قوماً إلى البطِّيخ أمسوا

أغثْ قوماً إلى البطِّيخ أمسوا

قياماً يسألون عن الأهلَّه

قياماً يسألون عن الأهلَّه

Help a people who, at evening, face the watermelons,

Aid a people who have come toyearn

Standing, asking about the crescent moons.

For loved ones, standing, ever concerned.
