ياO منwho أعادrestored ودادَaffection واbeginning of 'father'
يا من أعاد ودادَ وا
لدهِcompletion of 'his father' فجاءَand so he came علىin وفاقيaccord with me
لدهِ فجاءَ على وفاقي
O you who restored the affection of
O you who returned affection
Your father, and thus came into accord with me,
To the one longing for you, so you met me in harmony,
حاشاكfar be it from you تبطيbe slow ياO جوادgenerous one; noble steed
حاشاك تبطي يا جواد
وأنتand you أسرعswifter منthan براقBuraq
وأنت أسرع من براق
Far be it from you to tarry, O generous one,
Far be it from you to slow down, O generous one,
And you are swifter than Buraq.
When you are swifter than Al-Buraq.
