Are fixed on meeting, yet it has no discernment.

Yearn for the meeting, and cannot discern

فكأننا الثغر الشنيب فذا لذا

دانٍ ولكن اللقاءِ عزيز

دانٍ ولكن اللقاءِ عزيز

So we are like a bright-toothed mouth: this one to that one

So it's as if we are the withered lips, thus that is bliss

Is close, yet meeting is elusive.

Submissive, but the meeting is precious
