هنئتَ شهراً بالسعادة مقبلاً

يا من أفاضَ على الورى نعماءه

يا من أفاضَ على الورى نعماءه

Congratulations to you on a month arriving with good fortune,

You have congratulated a month arriving with happiness,

O you who have poured your bounty upon humankind.

O you who have bestowed blessings upon the world,

أسمعته فيك الثناءَ مخبراً

أسمعته فيك الثناءَ مخبراً

فانظر لمن سمعَ الأصمُّ ثناءَه

فانظر لمن سمعَ الأصمُّ ثناءَه

I made it hear praise of you, recounting it;

I heard it praising you, reporting,

so behold the one whose praise the deaf one heard.

So look to whom the deaf have heard his praise.
