So the stars of sorrow appeared.

The night of yearning cast darkness upon me,
radiantly bright within my eyelids.
So the dawn shines in my eyelids.

at your farewell on the day of parting.
On the day of farewell and separation.

and the heart warmed itself at longing's ember.
So my heart became an ember of yearning.
