فَلَكِيَّاتٌcelestial مَرَاتِبهُhis ranks
فَلَكِيَّاتٌ مَرَاتِبهُ
A Haydari whose bounty has reached all.
Its heights are beyond what's attained
His ranks are celestial.
Celestial spheres its ranks contain
قَبَسٌa flame تَهمِيpour like rain أَنَامِلُهُhis fingertips
قَبَسٌ تَهمِي أَنَامِلُهُ
أُفُقٌa horizon تَبدُوappear كَوَاكِبُهُhis stars
أُفُقٌ تَبدُو كَوَاكِبُهُ
A flame whose fingertips pour like rain.
Rays grasping his fingers remain
A horizon whose stars appear.
Horizons where its stars pertain
صَاعِدٌascending تُخشَىare feared نَوَازِلُهُhis calamities
صَاعِدٌ تُخشَى نَوَازِلُهُ
عِندَat بَيتِhouse المَالِthe wealth صَاحِبُهُits keeper
عِندَ بَيتِ المَالِ صَاحِبُهُ
Ascending, his calamities are feared.
Rising, fearing its declines remain
At the treasury is its keeper.
Its owner remains where wealth does reign
كَفُّthe hand يُمنِgood fortune الدَّهرِof Time كَاهِلُهُhis shoulder
كَفُّ يُمنِ الدَّهرِ كَاهِلُهُ
مَنهَلٌa watering place طَابَتbecame sweet مَشارِبُهُhis draughts
مَنهَلٌ طَابَت مَشارِبُهُ
His shoulder is the hand of Time’s good fortune.
Shouldering fate with its rights remain
A watering place whose draughts are sweet.
Its springs are where purity's obtained
عَلقَمِيٌّAlqami مُجَّwas spat out عَاسِلُهُhis honeyed sweetness
عَلقَمِيٌّ مُجَّ عَاسِلُهُ
نَبَوِيَّاتٌprophetic مَنَاقِبُهُhis virtues
نَبَوِيَّاتٌ مَنَاقِبُهُ
An Alqami whose honeyed sweetness was spat out.
He whose family excellence maintained
His virtues are prophetic.
Prophethood traits his merits contained
فَاضِلٌa virtuous man عَمَّتreached all فَوَاضِلُهُhis favors
فَاضِلٌ عَمَّت فَوَاضِلُهُ
قَدرٌfate دَارَتcircled round نَوَائِبُهُits calamities
قَدرٌ دَارَت نَوَائِبُهُ
A virtuous man whose favors have reached all.
Excelled, his superior traits attained
Fate, whose calamities have circled round.
Fate revolved, his calamities sustained
