وبعدما يخمد منهُ ذا اللّهب
Look at the brazier at its beginning,
Look at the brazier in its rawness
and after this flame in it dies down:
And after its flame has died down

حتى ترى الفضة من فوق الذهب
no sooner do you see it as gilded jet
While you see it glowing, gilded
than you see silver above gold.
Until you see silver above gold
