in unfolding the folds of excellence, it is like a title.

تزهىshine معانيهِits meanings خلالamid مدادهits ink
تزهى معانيهِ خلال مداده
مثلَlike الخدودthe cheeks البيضwhite بالخيلانwith beauty spots
مثلَ الخدود البيض بالخيلان
Its meanings shine amid its ink,
Its meanings adorn through its ink
like fair cheeks with beauty spots.
Like white cheeks with a blush
قلَّتfell short لديكin your eyes عنof اللقاءthe meeting تشبّهاًin imitation
قلَّت لديك عن اللقاء تشبّهاً
منfrom دهرناour age فيin قلةscarcity الإحسانkindness
من دهرنا في قلة الإحسان
They fell short, in your eyes, of a meeting, in imitation
Meeting you grew scarce, it seemed
of our age in its scarcity of kindness.
