نُcompletion of 'the age' بأعراقَmore deeply rooted فيin اللؤمbaseness منthan أهلهits people
نُ بأعراقَ في اللؤم من أهله
He blames the age, yet the age
He blames the time, yet time is not to blame
is no more deeply rooted in baseness than its people.
The fault lies with the people, full of vice and shame

أروني وان كان لا يستطا
عcompletion of 'can be done' كريماًa generous man نميلwe turn إلىtoward ظلهِhis shade
ع كريماً نميل إلى ظلهِ
Show me—even if it cannot be
Show me one man of honor, though he's hard to find
done—a generous man toward whose shade we might turn.
I would incline towards him, into his shade recline
