O my lord Sa'd al-Din—a call from one who has seen
O Ayyubid Sa'd al-Din, the prayer of one who saw,
The dawn of kingship, at your resting place, like deepest darkness.
For your tomb the dawn of the king is like the disappearing,

Indeed, the calamity has been great with you and the turns of fate,
Upon us the turns of time from every side.
Have come to us from every side.

For every calamity ranks beneath it.
