وجهَ سوء أليَّ غير حبيب
And a jurist appeared, and I beheld in him
I saw an unwise man whose face
a vile face, not dear to me.
Showed naught but faults to my eyes

They said, 'This man is widely learned.' I replied, 'You speak truly:
They said "This is a wise man" I said
he is, without doubt, a collector of faults.'
"You speak true, he gathers all vice"
