على الروض مطلولاً وقد وَضَح الفَجرُ
The wind reminds me of you; it passed languidly
The breeze reminds me of you when it passes gently
over the dew-drenched garden, with dawn already bright.
Over the garden at dawn when day breaks

إذاwhen نحنwe أدنَتناbrought us near الأمانيُّthe hopes والذِكرُand remembrance
إذا نحن أدنَتنا الأمانيُّ والذِكرُ
And no dwelling is far, nor any home distant,
No house is far nor coast too distant
when hopes and remembrance draw us near.
When hopes and memories draw us near
