وكفىand it suffices بأنواءby the rainstorms of الجفونthe eyelids اشارةa sign
وكفى بأنواء الجفون اشارة
فيupon عارضىmy cheeks إلىtoward طلوعthe rising of نجومstars
في عارضى إلى طلوع نجوم
And the eyelids’ showers suffice as a sign
Upon my cheeks, pointing to the rising of stars.
