وَإِذاand when تُباشِرُكَbeset you الهُموthe cares (word continues)
وَإِذا تُباشِرُكَ الهُمو
مُcompletion of 'the cares' فَإِنَّهاthen indeed they are كالٍdeferred وَناجِزand immediate
مُ فَإِنَّها كالٍ وَناجِز
And when cares beset you,
then some are deferred, and some immediate.
وَلَقَدand indeed تُزانُare adorned بِكَby you المَجاthe councils (word continues)
وَلَقَد تُزانُ بِكَ المَجا
لِسُcompletion of 'the councils' لاnot أَغَرُّheedless وَلاnor عُلاكِزuncouth
لِسُ لا أَغَرُّ وَلا عُلاكِز
And indeed you grace the councils,
neither heedless nor uncouth.
كَالهُندُوانِيّlike the Indian sword المُهَنَّthe Indian-steel blade (word continues)
كَالهُندُوانِيّ المُهَنَّ
دِcompletion of 'the Indian-steel blade' هَزَّهُhe brandished it القِرنُthe adversary المُناجِزengaging in combat
دِ هَزَّهُ القِرنُ المُناجِز
Like an Indian sword, forged of Indian steel,
brandished by an adversary in combat.
