I marveled at the sheikh, despite his excellence:
I am amazed at the scholar for his excellence
In his poetry, he robs his followers.
In his poetry he steals others' work
دقيقةa minute يسطوhe swoops down بهاin it آخذاًtaking
دقيقة يسطو بها آخذاً
منيfrom me ماwhat قدalready قلتI said فيin ساعهan hour
مني ما قد قلت في ساعه
In a minute he swoops down, taking
Subtly he takes from me
From me what I had said in an hour.
