I have a friend whose speech is blessed;

I have a friend whose words bring blessing

he adds more in stillness and in motion.

In stillness or speech, he only gives more

لو قال لافي قليل أحرفها

لردها بالحروف مشتبكهْ

If he said 'no,' few though its letters are,

If he said the word "no", though brief in letters

he would return it tangled up in letters.
