Sol 6.1

  1. القلبُ بعدكِ لم يسكنْ إلى سكنِ

    والعينُ مذ غِبْتِ لم تنظر إلى حَسَنِ

    In your absence, the heart has found no rest in any refuge.

    And since you went away, the eye has looked upon nothing beautiful.

  2. كأنّما الروحُ لّما غِبْتُمُ بَعُدَتْ

    حتّى إذا عُدْتُمُ عادتْ إلى البَدَنِ

    It was as though the soul, when you went away, had gone far off,

    Until, when you returned, it returned to the body.
