وأبلياني اليومَ صبراً منكما

إنّ حزيناً منكما بادٍ لشر

إنّ حزيناً منكما بادٍ لشر

And show me patience today, both of you.

Today you give me patience from you both

Indeed, a sorrowful one among you two is exposed to harm.

A sad one from you two is prone to evil

لا أرى ذا الموتَ يبقي أحداً

لا أرى ذا الموتَ يبقي أحداً

إنّ بعد الموت دارُ المستقر

إنّ بعد الموت دارُ المستقر

I do not see this death sparing anyone.

I do not see death leaving anyone

Indeed, after death lies the abode of lasting rest.

After death is the abode of settlement
