I am the sea, and the sea is in my beating heart.
I am the sea and the sea is within me
So come—race ahead to venture into it.
So come and plunge into it, my keen rival

I am the sea; there is no salt in its water.
I am the sea, there is no brine in my waters
And in it there is no fear for the lover.
No fear for the lover in me

No waves or depths are found in me
And in it there is no trace of anyone drowned.
No trace of the drowned in me

I am the sea; happy is whoever ventures into it
I am the sea, blessing those who traverse me
aboard the confident skiff of longing.

هدوئي ، إلى صمتي الناطِقِ
So come to the sea, come to
So come to the sea, come to
my calm, to my speaking silence.
My tranquility, my eloquent silence
