وعائشة الخير قد عمّرت

وعائشة الخير قد عمّرت

مكان الوضوء فضاهى قصورا

مكان الوضوء فضاهى قصورا

And Aisha the good has built

And Aisha of goodness has lived long,

a place for ablution that came to rival palaces.

She made the place of ablution shine like palaces.

فجاء مَعيناً بعون الإله

فجاء مَعيناً بعون الإله

فلم تر فيه أواناً قصورا

فلم تر فيه أواناً قصورا

Thus it became a flowing spring, with God's help,

So it came as a helper with the support of God,

and at no time did you see any shortcoming in it.

She did not see any shortcomings in it.

وأجرت به من غير المياه

وأجرت به من غير المياه

زلالاً يروّي العطاش دهورا

زلالاً يروّي العطاش دهورا

And she made flow through it, from other than water [wording unclear],

And she flowed through it without water,

clear, sweet water that quenches the thirsty for ages.

A clarity that quenches the thirst of epochs.

تنوح البلابل إذ غربه

تنوح البلابل إذ غربه

تغني فتُجري لذاك البحورا

تغني فتُجري لذاك البحورا

The nightingales lament as its great bucket

The nightingales weep when it is gone,

sings, and thereby sends seas flowing.

They sing and let those seas flow.

تقول لورّاده كلما

تقول لورّاده كلما

أتوه هنيئاً ونلتم سرورا

أتوه هنيئاً ونلتم سرورا

It says to those who draw from it, whenever

It says to its visitors whenever

they come: 'Enjoy, and may you attain joy!'

They come: Welcome, and you have attained happiness.

فكم جاء مورودنا العابدون

فكم جاء مورودنا العابدون

فنالوا أماناً وزيدوا حبورا

فنالوا أماناً وزيدوا حبورا

And how many worshippers have come to our watering place!

So how many worshipers came to us

They gained safety and were granted greater delight.

And attained safety and were given blessings.

بمفرد إيمانهم أرّخوا

بمفرد إيمانهم أرّخوا

سقاهم ربّهم شراباً طهورا

سقاهم ربّهم شراباً طهورا

With their faith alone, they recorded the date:

With just their faith they recorded

Their Lord gave them a pure and purifying drink.

Their Lord quenched them with a pure drink.
