Sol 6.1

  1. إِنّي تَفَرَّستُ فيكَ الخَيرَ أَعرِفُهُ

    وَاللَهُ يَعلَمُ أَن ما خانَني البَصَرُ

    Indeed, I have discerned goodness in you, and I recognize it.

    And God knows that my sight has not deceived me.

  2. أَنتَ النَبِيُّ وَمَن يُحرَم شَفاعَتَهُ

    يَومَ الحِسابِ فَقَد أَزرى بِهِ القَدَرُ

    You are the Prophet, and whoever is denied his intercession

    On the Day of Reckoning has indeed been brought low by fate.

  3. فَثَبَّتَ اللَهُ ما آتاكَ مِن حَسَنٍ

    تَثبيتَ موسى وَنصراً كَالَّذي نُصِروا

    So may God make firm the goodness He has given you,

    As He made Moses steadfast, and grant you victory such as they were granted.

  4. يا آلَ هاشِمَ إِنَّ اللَهَ فَضَّلَكُم

    عَلى البَرِيَّةِ فَضلاً ما لَهُ غِيَرُ

    O house of Hashim, God has indeed favored you

    Above creation, with a favor that never changes.

  5. وَلَو سَأَلتَ أَوِ اِستَنصَرتَ بَعَضَهُمُ

    في جُلِّ أَمرِكَ ما آوَوا وَلا نَصَروا

    And if you asked some of them or sought their aid,

    In your weightiest affairs, they would neither shelter nor help you.

  6. فَخَبِّروني أَثمانَ العَباءِ مَتى

    كُنتُم بَطاريقَ أَو دانَت لَكُم مُضَرُ

    So tell me, you who are worth only the price of cloaks: when

    Were you patricians, or did Mudar submit to you?

  7. نُجالِدُ الناسَ عَن عُرضٍ فَنَأسِرُهُم

    فينا النَبِيُّ وَفينا تَنزِلُ السُوَرُ

    We fight men on every side, then take them captive.

    The Prophet is among us, and among us the Qur'anic chapters descend.

  8. وَقَد عَلِمتُم بِأَنّا لَيسَ يَغلِبُنا

    حَيٌّ مِنَ الناسِ إِن عَزّوا وَإِن كَثُروا

    And you know full well that we are not overcome

    By any tribe of men, however mighty and however numerous they may be.
