Alas for an old man, whose very being
Alas for an old man they married off
his son unjustly banished from among them;
unjustly to a young girl from among them.
فارقhe departed الدنياthis world سليماًunharmed
فارق الدنيا سليماً
منfrom أذاهاher harm وهيwhile she حيهalive
من أذاها وهي حيه
he departed the world unscathed
He departed this world safe
by her harm, while she yet lived.
from her harm, while she was still alive.
