Good tidings, the crescent moon of Saad has risen
Time shone auspiciously with the light of his brow.

نجل سما بولاء آل محمد
منfrom شيعةfollowers تسموrise high بحبthrough love of أبيAbu (father of) الحسنal-Hasan
من شيعة تسمو بحب أبي الحسن
A son exalted by loyalty to the family of Muhammad,
A son of high heavens, loyal to the family of Muhammad
From followers exalted by love for Abu al-Hasan.
From followers who are exalted by love of Abi Al-Hassan
حسنHasan تلقبtook a byname عنfrom أبيهhis father براسمas Rasim
حسن تلقب عن أبيه براسم
ليسيرso that he might follow سيرتهhis course علىalong أوفىthe truest سننpath
ليسير سيرته على أوفى سنن
Hasan took the byname Rasim from his father,
Hassan nicknamed after his father with symbols
To follow his course along the truest path.
To follow in his footsteps on the truest paths
قالsaid البشيرthe herald وقدand indeed بداappeared تاريخهhis chronogram
قال البشير وقد بدا تاريخه
سُرّتwere gladdened بمولدby the birth of راسمRasim عيناthe two eyes of حسنHasan
سُرّت بمولد راسم عينا حسن
The herald said, as his chronogram appeared:
Said the messenger, and his date has appeared
