Qays, though cloaked in gray hair,
Indeed Qays, though he has veiled himself in gray hair,
Though Qays is old, his passion's vile;
is still depraved in passion despite his hoariness:
is surely wicked in his desires, despite his grizzled hair.
On his gray hair, a wanton smile.

ninety years old in looks and gray hairs,
Ninety years old in appearance and grayness,
Ninety years he's lived or more,
yet reckoned a ten-year-old in his folly.
yet reckoned ten years old in his follies.
Yet acts like a child of ten or four.
