يا رَسولَ المَليكِ إِنَّ لِساني

يا رَسولَ المَليكِ إِنَّ لِساني

راتِقٌ ما فَتَقتُ إِذ أَنا بورُ

راتِقٌ ما فَتَقتُ إِذ أَنا بورُ

O Messenger of the Sovereign, indeed my tongue

O Messenger of the King, my tongue

is mending what I tore open when I was lost,

Was eloquent before it clove when I

إِذ أُبارى الشَيطانَ في سِنَنِ الغَيْ

إِذ أُبارى الشَيطانَ في سِنَنِ الغَيْ

ىِ وَمَن مالَ مَيلَهُ مَثبورُ

ىِ وَمَن مالَ مَيلَهُ مَثبورُ

when I vied with Satan along the paths of error;

Contended with Satan in the ways of error,

and whoever follows his inclination is doomed.

And he who inclined towards it was doomed.

آمَنَ اللَحمُ وَالعِظامُ لِرَبي

آمَنَ اللَحمُ وَالعِظامُ لِرَبي

ثُمَ قَلبي الشَهيدُ أَنتَ النَذيرُ

ثُمَ قَلبي الشَهيدُ أَنتَ النَذيرُ

My flesh and bones have believed in my Lord,

My flesh and bones believed in my Lord

then my heart, bearing witness—you are the warner.

Then my martyred heart - you are the warner.

إِنَّني عَنكَ زاجِرٌ ثَمَّ حَيّا

إِنَّني عَنكَ زاجِرٌ ثَمَّ حَيّا

مِن لُؤَى وَكُلُّهُم مَغرورُ

مِن لُؤَى وَكُلُّهُم مَغرورُ

Indeed, I am there driving a clan away from you—

I forbid you, then greet

of Lu’ayy, all of them deluded.

The radiant ones, though all are deluded.

إِنَّ ما جِئنا بِهِ حَقُ صِدقٍ

إِنَّ ما جِئنا بِهِ حَقُ صِدقٍ

ساطِعٌ نورُهُ مُضِيءٌ مُنيرُ

ساطِعٌ نورُهُ مُضِيءٌ مُنيرُ

Indeed, what we have brought is genuine truth,

What we brought with us is true sincerity

its light shining forth, radiant and illuminating.

Its light shining, illuminating, and bright.

جِئتَنا بِاليَقينِ وَالبِرّ وَالصِد

جِئتَنا بِاليَقينِ وَالبِرّ وَالصِد

ق وَفي الصِدقِ وَاليَقينِ سُرورُ

ق وَفي الصِدقِ وَاليَقينِ سُرورُ

You came to us with certainty, righteousness, and truthfulness,

You came to us with certainty, righteousness, truth

and in truthfulness and certainty there is joy.

And in truth and certainty is happiness.

أَذهَبَ اللَهُ ضلَّةَ الجَهلِ عَنا

أَذهَبَ اللَهُ ضلَّةَ الجَهلِ عَنا

وَأَتانا الرَخاءُ وَالمَيسورُ

وَأَتانا الرَخاءُ وَالمَيسورُ

God has removed from us the misguidance of ignorance,

May God remove from us the misguidance of ignorance

and prosperity and ease have come to us.

And bring us comfort, ease and abundance.
