And Mawhab became like a wretched donkey,
And a boon has passed like a donkey of ill omen
That passed through a town where it is called out to.
Through a village in which is called out

For a slave like you cannot rival
The likes of you, slave, are not to be trusted
Suhayl—your striving has gone astray! Whom do you oppose?
Oh Suhayl you have strayed from your path, shun those you hate

So leave him alone, son of a vile smith,
So desist, O son of Qayn the evil, from him
And turn away from such talk throughout the land.
And refrain from speaking in the lands

And do not speak of reproaching Abu Yazid,
And mention not the reproach of my father Yazeed
For how far the seas are from shallow pools!
