ربَّ منهلٍ طامٍ وردتَ وَقَد خَوى
نِجمٌa star وحلَّقَand soared فيin السَماءِthe sky نُجومُstars
نِجمٌ وحلَّقَ في السَماءِ نُجومُ
Many a brimming watering place you reached, when there had sunk
Many a brimming watering place you reached, when there had set
My Lord, to a deserted spring you came when it had run dry
a star, while stars soared high in the sky.
A star, and stars soared in the sky.
A star that flew into the heavens amid other stars
