ثم انجلى لك لا عليكَ ومن

ثم انجلى لك لا عليكَ ومن

بَعدِ التحاسب يُعرفُ الربحُ

Then it resolved in your favor, not against you; and

Then it cleared for you, not against you and from

after the reckoning, the profit is known.

After reckoning, profit is known

والعيد مبتسمٌ إليك كمن

والعيد مبتسمٌ إليك كمن

يُطوى على شعفٍ له كشحُ

يُطوى على شعفٍ له كشحُ

And the festival smiles toward you, like one

And Eid smiles at you as one

whose flank is folded around ardent love,

Who is delighted with abundant joy

مستَبشرٌ فَكأنَّه أملٌ

مستَبشرٌ فَكأنَّه أملٌ

لاقاهُ عند لقائِك النُّجحُ

لاقاهُ عند لقائِك النُّجحُ

rejoicing, as though it were a hope

Hopeful, as if it were a hope

that success met upon meeting you.

That met you at the time of your success
