And one made overbold by the tawny wine, who drank it at dawn
And one who boasted mastery over tawny wine drank it early,
A rectangle on the gray morning
with young men well versed in morning draughts of wine—
With young men adept at drinking wine in the morning.
With youths skilled at welcoming the wind's relief
فَكلُّso every شَيءٍthing رآهُhe saw it ظنَّهhe took it for قَدَحاًa goblet
فَكلُّ شَيءٍ رآهُ ظنَّه قَدَحاً
وكُلُّand every شَخصٍperson رآهُhe saw him ظنَّهhe took him for الساقيthe cupbearer
وكُلُّ شَخصٍ رآهُ ظنَّه الساقي
everything he saw, he took to be a goblet,
So everything he saw, he took for a goblet,
Everything he saw he thought a chalice
and everyone he saw, he took to be the cupbearer.
And every person he saw, he took for the cupbearer.
And everyone he saw he thought the cupbearer
