And one who crossed my path with the raincloud of his two palms

poured down, reaching me and reaching others.

So, through some of what I experienced from him, I came

to think generosity one of the sons of Zuhayr.

I say, when generosity has given him a cup to drink,

and he has flown in his drunkenness with every bird:

Perhaps Muhammad will sober up and become

settled, having surpassed every good man.
