بمنِّ اللَه في صُورٍ وحَمدِه

بمنِّ اللَه في صُورٍ وحَمدِه

وقاني أهلها أملٌ بوعدِه

وقاني أهلها أملٌ بوعدِه

By God's grace in Tyre, and with praise of him,

With Allah's blessings in glorious images and His praise,

hope in his promise shielded me from its people.

And this land's people have hope in His promise,

وأشرقَتِ الدجُنَّةُ في عيونٍ

وأشرقَتِ الدجُنَّةُ في عيونٍ

فتَحناها على فَتحٍ وجُندِه

فتَحناها على فَتحٍ وجُندِه

And the darkness shone in eyes

The sun shone in some eyes,

we opened upon Fath and his army.

We opened it with His conquest and soldiers,

وأعدَدنا له صبراً وشُكراً

وأعدَدنا له صبراً وشُكراً

جوابَي أخذهِ مِنا ورَدِّه

جوابَي أخذهِ مِنا ورَدِّه

And we prepared patience and gratitude for him,

And we prepared for Him patience and gratitude,

two responses to his taking from us and giving back.

Two responses I took from us for His sake,

وصارَ دنوُّهُ يُدني إِلينا

وصارَ دنوُّهُ يُدني إِلينا

عوارفَ نعمةٍ بَعدت لبُعدِه

عوارفَ نعمةٍ بَعدت لبُعدِه

And his nearness began bringing close to us

And his nearing brought him closer to us,

gifts of grace that had grown distant because he was far away.

Feelings of blessing that were distant due to his distance,

وكانت قبلَ ذلكَ من وصايا

وكانت قبلَ ذلكَ من وصايا

أميرِ المؤمنينَ وليِّ عَهدِه

أميرِ المؤمنينَ وليِّ عَهدِه

And before that, this had been among the instructions

And before that were from the commandments,

of the Commander of the Faithful to his heir apparent.
