جَعلتit began تعثَّرto stumble بالقَبولin the east wind
جَعلت تعثَّر بالقَبول
وبالدَّبورand in the west wind والجَنوبِand the south wind
وبالدَّبور والجَنوبِ
It began to stumble in the east wind,
You stumbled upon acceptance
and in the west wind and the south wind.
And upon the south and north winds
وإذاand when تهبُّblows الشمألُthe north wind اشbeginning of 'enfolded'
وإذا تهبُّ الشمألُ اش
تَملتcompletion of 'enfolded' عليهاaround it فيin الهُبوبِthe blowing
تَملت عليها في الهُبوبِ
And when the north wind blows, it enfolds
And when the north wind blew gently
it as it blows.
It leaned upon it during the rainstorms
تجريit courses بذكركَwith your name فيin مجاbeginning of 'courses'
تجري بذكركَ في مجا
ريcompletion of 'courses' الشَّمسِthe sun إلاexcept فيat الغروبِsunset
ري الشَّمسِ إلا في الغروبِ
It courses with your name along the paths
It flows with your mention in the waterways
of the sun, except at sunset.
