This, by my life, is truly a vessel:

Whoever travels aboard it is under God’s protection.

So board it, assured of safety in it,

For it is something in which thoughts find rest.

It fills the heart with joy, and is seen

As a bird at sea whenever it sails.

And when the wind is made to serve it,

It mocks its peers in sailing.

And they named it “Nusrat Shah” after him—

    Nasir al-Din, a champion of God’s faith,

Shah of Iran; and in his days,

Jabir became the one who made this vessel comfortable.

May God Most High make his reign endure,

And may his Lord protect him from what he fears.

If Jabir is among his supporters,

Then he is victorious, and a breaker of enemies.

Then, since he was supporting him,

They gave it the chronogram: “The Shah’s victory through Jabir.”
