O master who has held mastery among all the nobles,
O master who has held sway among all the nobles,
and has ever been the master of masters, from the day he came to be;
And has remained master of masters since he came to be.

Indeed, the headship's eyes have found delight in you,
and has taken pride in you among grandees and notables.
And through you it has vied in glory with grandees and notables.

He would outweigh them all in the balance of honor.

“To you the Sultan has sent a firman.”
The Sultan has sent you an imperial decree.
