ومنتجعاً أقنى العفاة ابتسامه
O king whose keen sword has annihilated the foes,
O king who destroys his enemies with his sword
And haven whose smile has enriched the seekers of bounty,
And pleases the virtuous with his smile

فكيف بثاوٍ في حماك حمامه
One day's meeting with you in a lifetime is happiness;
Meeting you one day is happiness
What, then, of one who dwells in your sanctuary until his death?
So being with you often is like a hot bath

And your servant complains of his debt while giving thanks
Your servant complains of his religion yet is thankful
For your bounty, whose cloud enriches the rain clouds.
For your voice that makes the clouds thunder

I have a horse that was struck by an arrow and startled
Into a campsite's hearthstones: it stands on three legs.

A courtyard within it is inhabited by a wound,
In it is a battlefield full of wounds
And its saddle and bridle are left idle.
Its saddle and reins are disabled

We have come for the noble favors you have accustomed us to,
We came for the virtues you taught us
In which the hopeful seeker takes refuge, and his anguish is healed.
That the hopeful can seek refuge and cure his love sickness

For your mercy is succor whose champion is never absent,
So have mercy on us, you are help that does not disappear for your allies
And your bounty is rain whose flow never pauses.
And your blessings are rain that does not cease to fall gently
