The boldness of the generous is to dare great deeds,
seeking honor or overcoming an oppressor.
Seeking glory or overcoming adversities.

كما انتحلت جدواه وطف الغمائم
Describers borrow the splendor of his description,
Meanings like the dazzle of magic in a perceptive eye’s necklace,
as rain-heavy clouds borrowed his generosity.
And words like the sparkle of gold in a strung ode.

I have never ceased unveiling brides from his adornments,
He rose above the nadir of poetry to the zenith
with whom people of understanding spend their days at feasts,
Of wisdom, while the confused poet roams perplexed.

a gap-toothed mouth, radiant in its smiles:
Shedding proliferating light through the generations.

It rose from poetry's low ground to the zenith
I consider my praise of him an obligation,
of wisdom, and with sober thought rose above a wanderer's path.
Avoiding praise of another, like avoiding sin.

Through its remembrance, the sayings of those gone before will be forgotten,
Not pretentiousness, but gratitude of one thankful
and it will sprout as light spreading through pens,
For his legacy, and supportive of one resolute.

For none save He can give victory's refuge.

support for deeds and encouragement for the resolute.
And will give you what you hope for in future days.
