أبونا رسول اللَه خيرُ الورى طرّا

أبونا رسول اللَه خيرُ الورى طرّا

فمن في الورى يبغي يطاولنا قدرا

فمن في الورى يبغي يطاولنا قدرا

Our father is the Messenger of God, the best of all mankind.

Our father, Messenger of Allah, best of all creation

Our father is the Messenger of Allah, the best of creation entirely,

Who, then, among mankind seeks to rival us in rank?

So whoever in creation seeks to rival us in merit

So who among mankind seeks to rival our stature in rank?

ولانا غدا ديناً وفرضاً محتّما

ولانا غدا ديناً وفرضاً محتّما

على كل ذي لبّ به يأمن الغدرا

على كل ذي لبّ به يأمن الغدرا

Loyalty to us has become a matter of faith and an inescapable duty,

And our religion tomorrow made incumbent

Allegiance to us has become a faith and a binding obligation

Upon all who possess understanding; through it they are safe from treachery.

Upon every person of intellect, securing them from betrayal

Upon every possessor of intellect, by which he is safe from treachery.

وحسبي بهذا الفخر من كل منصب

وحسبي بهذا الفخر من كل منصب

وعن رتبةٍ تسمو وبيضاء أو صفرا

وعن رتبةٍ تسمو وبيضاء أو صفرا

And this pride suffices me in place of every office,

And this pride suffices me over any position

And this pride suffices me above every position,

And lofty rank, and white silver or yellow gold.

And rank, lofty and white or yellow

And above any soaring rank, or white silver or yellow gold.

بعليائنا يعلو الفخار وإن يكن

بعليائنا يعلو الفخار وإن يكن

به قد سما قومٌ ونالوا به نصرا

به قد سما قومٌ ونالوا به نصرا

Through our eminence glory rises, even if

Our supremacy makes pottery sublime, even if

By our eminence glory itself ascends, even if

A people have risen through it and through it gained victory.

A people have attained with it victory

Through it others have risen high and attained victory.

وباللَه أضحى عزّنا وجمالنا

وباللَه أضحى عزّنا وجمالنا

بتقوى وعلمٍ والتزوّد للأخرى

بتقوى وعلمٍ والتزوّد للأخرى

And by God, our honor and beauty have come

And by Allah, our honor and beauty have risen

And through Allah our might and our beauty have come to pass,

Through piety, knowledge, and laying up provision for the hereafter.

Through piety, knowledge, and provision for the next life

Through piety, knowledge, and provisioning for the Hereafter.

ومن رامَ إلالاً لنا قلتُ حسبنا

ومن رامَ إلالاً لنا قلتُ حسبنا

إله الورى والجدّا أنعم به ذخرا

إله الورى والجدّا أنعم به ذخرا

And to whoever sought our abasement, I said: sufficient for us are

And whoever seeks glory rivaling ours, I say sufficient for us

And whoever seeks to diminish us, I say: sufficient for us

The God of mankind and our forefather—what an excellent treasure he is!

Is the God of creation and holy ancestors, who bestowed it as treasure

Is the God of creation and the Grandfather—what an excellent treasure is he!
