صدقتم هي الأكوان تطوي وتنشرُ

صدقتم هي الأكوان تطوي وتنشرُ

وفي صدف الأوقات للحق جوهر

وفي صدف الأوقات للحق جوهر

You spoke truly: it is the cosmos, folding and unfolding.

You speak truth, the universes fold and unfold

And in the shell of moments lies a jewel belonging to the Real.

And in the shells of time, essence of truth holds

كما قال محيي الدين وهو المقرر

كما قال محيي الدين وهو المقرر

لنا دولة في آخر الدهر تظهر

لنا دولة في آخر الدهر تظهر

As Muhyi al-Din said—and this is established—

As said Muhyiddin, this is affirmed

A reign shall be ours, appearing at the end of time.

For us a state at the end of time will emerge

فتظهر مثل الشمس لا تتستر

فتظهر مثل الشمس لا تتستر

ألا نحن قوم قد عرفنا بهولنا

ألا نحن قوم قد عرفنا بهولنا

So it will appear like the sun, without veiling itself.

It will appear like the sun, unconcealed

Behold, we are a people already known for the dread we inspire.

Know us as a people, by our might we're hailed

بقوتنا لا نستقل وحولنا

بقوتنا لا نستقل وحولنا

تنحَّ ولا تنكر نُصِبْكَ بصولنا

تنحَّ ولا تنكر نُصِبْكَ بصولنا

We do not stand independently through our strength and might.

By our strength, though not independent we're prevailed

Stand aside and do not deny, or we shall strike you with our onslaught.

Step aside and accept what we have assailed

فمن كان منا أو يقول بقولنا

فمن كان منا أو يقول بقولنا

فبشره بالدنيا واِلأُخرى يبشر

فبشره بالدنيا واِلأُخرى يبشر

So whoever is one of us or says what we say,

Whoever's of us or speaks our words availed

Then give him glad tidings of this world and the next: he will rejoice.

Give them tidings of this life and next unfailed
