نزيد في الشكر له دائماً

نزيد في الشكر له دائماً

وكلما زدناه زاد النِعَمْ

وكلما زدناه زاد النِعَمْ

We always increase our thanks to him;

We increase our thanks to Him always

and whenever we increase them, he increases the blessings.

And the more we increase it, the more His blessings abound

مثل تجارة الكريم الذي

مثل تجارة الكريم الذي

له شياه ولديه نَعَمْ

له شياه ولديه نَعَمْ

Like the trade of the generous man who

Like the trade of the generous one who

has sheep and livestock in his keeping.

Has trifles yet with him are bounties found

فكلما قلنا له زد لنا

فكلما قلنا له زد لنا

قال أيا من عاملوني نَعَمْ

قال أيا من عاملوني نَعَمْ

So whenever we say to him, 'Give us more,'

So whenever we say give us more

he says, 'O you who trade with me—yes!'

He says: O you who have treated me well abound
