ما في الوجود سوى الواحدْ هو اللهُ

ما في الوجود سوى الواحدْ هو اللهُ

والكل فيه العدمْ لولاه لولاهُ

والكل فيه العدمْ لولاه لولاهُ

There is nothing in existence but the One: He is God.

There is none in existence but the One, He is Allah

And all within it would be nothingness, were it not for Him, were it not for Him.

And all are naught but Him, without Him they would cease to be

ما بال قومي عن التحقيق قد تاهو

ما بال قومي عن التحقيق قد تاهو

أمّا أنا ذلك الموجودْ وأمّا هو

أمّا أنا ذلك الموجودْ وأمّا هو

What ails my people, that they have strayed from realizing the truth?

Why have my people strayed from the truth?

As for me, I am that existent being; and as for Him—

As for me, I am that Existent One, and as for Him, He is He
